Charleston County School District’s (CCSD) Department of Nutrition Services is pleased to announce meal service will continue through the summer for children 18 years and younger.
Nutrition Services staff members will provide the meals Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (as they did the final weeks of the school year).
Meals will be served curbside at the following locations from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays:
The District will also continue delivering meals to students at additional locations throughout the county, including seven Charleston County Public Library branches and at numerous summer camps.
CCSD’s Department of Nutrition Services will continue adhering to CDC (Center for Disease Control) recommendations by practicing social distancing in kitchens and at meal service areas, taking the temperature of staff members, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), and providing meals on a to-go basis only (at each school’s car rider drop-off line).

he U.S. Department of Agriculture has provided the school district with the flexibility to allow the distribution of meals to adults to take home to children.
