By Briasia Russ Shonda Rhimes and Netflix have decided to expand Rhimes TV shows and films to gaming and virtual reality content after the success of the Bridgerton series. The Grey’s Anatomy showrunner signed off on an agreement that enhances a current deal with her production company, Shondaland Production. The award-winning producer has brought to life popular shows like How To Get Away With Murder and Scandal. According to The Hollywood Reporter, this deal enables Rhimes to continue with the streamer for five more years. In 2017, Rhimes left ABC due to a Disneyland pass for Netflix. Rhimes had already been experiencing issues with the network and knew she was ready to move on.
