The process of counting the votes to determine who the Democratic nominee to be the next Mayor of Baltimore officially begins with the primary election on June 2.
On May 20, Robert Wallace, a Baltimore business owner, entrepreneur and community leader announced his bid for Mayor of Baltimore.
“I have been closely following the current mayoral race and the various candidates who want the job of mayor to lead our city,” Wallace stated.
The latest poll by the University of Baltimore, WYPR and the Baltimore Sun, show former mayor Sheila Dixon, former Obama administration official Mary Miller and Baltimore City Council President Brandon Scott leading the pact of Democratic mayoral candidates heading into the June 3 primary.
Wallace is in the process of collecting approximately 4,000 signatures of registered Baltimore City voters needed to be included on the November 2020 General Election ballot.
