While onstage as a presenter at the 2023 Tony Awards last night, actress Denée Benton called Florida Governor Ron DeSantis a "Grand Wizard", ripping him because of his policies against Black people and other people of color along with the LGBTQ community. Representatives for the 2024 presidential candidate had no immediate comment.
