Allegheny County Health Department on Thursday reported 13 new deaths from COVID-19 bringing the total to 165.
Gov. Wolf on Thursday renewed the state’s 90-day emergency disaster declaration, allowing state agencies to utilize additional resources to respond to effects of the coronavirus.
Gov. Wolf also announced that he would allow the amended stay-at-home order to expire today, which had still been in effect in counties in the red phase.
“As phased reopening continues and all 67 counties are either in the yellow or green phase by Friday, we will no longer have a stay-at-home order in effect,” Gov. Wolf said in a statement.
State health officials on Wednesday, June 3, announced 511 new COVID-19 infections and 75 additional deaths.
