On Wednesday, May 27, Christie dished to Atlanta Black Star in an exclusive telephone interview about the upcoming season of the VH1 series, the key to sustaining a long-lasting marriage, and her latest podcast.

If you can recall, Christie and her co-star Malaysia Pargo fell out with each other during season 8 after a man from Atlanta contacted Christie on social media and allegedly implied that Pargo was broke and was not taking care of her children.

When describing her current relationship with Pargo, Christie said, “Me and Malaysia have been on “Basketball Wives” together since the beginning.

It’s unknown when season nine of “BBW” will premiere on VH1, but Christie is always working.

I want to give a voice to reality stars as well because that’s what I’ve been doing for nine years, and I think a lot of the times some things can be misinterpreted or misunderstood about us,” she concluded.
