Bethune-Cookman Moves to SWAC - Black News Channel

By David Johnson / BNC Digital Reporter Birmingham, Alabama (BNC) The rich get richer as the South Western Athletics Conference (SWAC) adds its 12th member in Bethune-Cookman University, who will be joining the SWAC with FAMU in the 2021-2022 academic school year. The decision was reached during the executive meeting of the SWAC Council of Presidents and Chancellors. SWAC commissioner Dr. Charles McClelland released the following statement,: “We’re extremely excited to welcome Bethune-Cookman University to the Southwestern Athletic Conference,” said SWAC Commissioner Dr. Charles McClelland. “The Wildcats undoubtedly align with our core principles and strategic plan; and they also []
