Carla Harris

Carla A. Harris is the Vice Chair, Wealth Management, Managing Director and Senior Client Advisor for Morgan Stanley.

In these roles, Harris is responsible for increasing client connectivity to enhance revenue generation across the firm. Carla joined the mergers and acquisitions team at Morgan Stanley in 1987 and, during her tenure, has held a number of positions.

Harris’ experiences at Morgan Stanley range from investment banking, equity capital markets, equity private placements, and initial public offerings in a number of industries such as technology, media, retail, telecommunications, transportation, healthcare and biotechnology.

In August 2013, President Obama appointed Harris to serve as Chair of the National Women’s Business Council. She currently serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations including Sponsors for Educational Opportunity and the Morgan Stanley Foundation. Carla also serves on the Board of Overseers of Harvard University.
