The Saint Lucia Christian Council Tuesday called for sobriety to replace the euphoria of the July 26, 2021 election campaign, as this country battles the COVID-19 pandemic. In a statement signed by its Executive Secretary, Raymonde Joseph, the council asserted that the fight against the pandemic is not served by name calling and finger pointing, but by the unified effort of all citizens to comply with the measures put in place by the authorities.
