The first slave revolt in America actually occurred 93 years
before what was has popularly been stated as the arrival of
the fist Black slaves in the United States. The revolt took
place at Jamestown, Virginia in 1526, when Black slaves rose
againt the Spanish Commander at the time, De Ayllon, killing
him and all of their other masters.
