Alexes Haggins has reopened her father's flower business, Flowers by Alexes, in the Northwest neighborhood of Petworth, selling fresh flowers and plants for sale and offering delivery services, and was recently awarded the District of Columbia Chamber of Commerce's Retailer of the Year Award.
