Health Officials Sound Alarm on Rising COVID Cases - Black News Channel

Brown, NNPA Newswire Senior National Correspondent Dr. Robert Redfield, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), has sounded the alarm about the increasing number of coronavirus deaths in the U.S. With approximately 273,000 reported deaths in 2020, Dr. Redfield said this week that the nation is on course to reach about 450,000 deaths by February. “These next few months might be the most difficult time in the public health history of this nation,” Dr. Redfield stated.
