Some of the cleaning companies such as Extreme Clean have gone a step further and is wooing healthcare staff who own vehicles by giving them a special offer of 50 per cent discount for services.

"Extreme Clean recognises the sacrifices that healthcare staff in the country make, being in the frontline in the fight against coronavirus pandemic and that is why we have rolled out a 50 per cent discount to health workers," said Extreme Clean in a statement.

Owing to disruption of businesses of many Kenyans, the company has also offered a 10 per cent discount on all its car services for its clients.

To bring services closer to their clients, the company has also introduced mobile car-wash services to clients who are unable to drive to their work station.

"This war against Covid-19 can only be won if all Kenyans follow relevant directives and guidelines by observing good hygiene and sanitisation of all personal and public places including vehicles," concluded the statement," the statement added.
