Le ministre israélien de la Défense, Yoav Gallant, a été limogé par Benjamin Netanyahu dimanche, au lendemain de son appel à une pause d'un mois dans le processus de réforme judiciaire controversée voulue par le gouvernement. Cette décision a provoqué une nouvelle fronde de la rue. Le président israélien Isaac Herzog a de son côté exhorté le gouvernement à arrêter "immédiatement" le processus législatif.
