Police say they are investigating a shooting incident in Monchy, Gros Islet, at approximately 7:00 pm on Wednesday, which resulted in a male individual sustaining a gunshot wound to the leg. According to reports, the victim was sitting near a Car Wash when a gunman approached him, fired several shots, and fled. Individuals familiar with the incident told St Lucia Times that the injured man managed to seek the assistance of neighbours who summoned emergency responders from the Gros Islet fire station. Emergency personnel said they transported the gunshot victim to the hospital in stable condition. There are no further
