Nasa and SpaceX pulled the plug on a planned launch of the first manned launch to take off from American soil since 2011.
The launch will now be attempted on Saturday.
The launch, aboard a Crew Dragon capsule, was called off about 15 minutes before scheduled lift-off due to deteriorating weather conditions at the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida.
