Le 7 Janvier 2015 Chérif et Saïd Kouachi, deux terroristes membres d’al-Qaïda font irruption dans la rédaction de Charlie Hebdo et assassinent douze personnes dont huit membres de la rédaction du journal. Deux policiers à Paris et Montrouge, ainsi que quatre personnes de confession juive dans un magasin casher porte de Vincennes, sont également tués pendant 3 jours de terreur. 10 ans après, des commémorations ont eu lieu en présence d'Emmanuel Macron et François Hollande, Président à l'époque.
