Storm Leaves 200,000 SMUD Customers Without Power in Sacramento Region

Over 200,000 customers of the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) were left without power after a powerful winter storm caused widespread damage and left over 60 downed lines, dozens of power poles, and over 80 crews working around the clock to assess the damage and make repairs.
