Two women were fatally shot on Monday while trying to help a relative escape from an abusive partner, police reports.

The man who’s allegedly the 22-year-old’s boyfriend shot the three women, but the girlfriend luckily survived the shooting.

According to police, it began with a domestic attack, whereby a man was beating his 22-year-old girlfriend for not making him breakfast.

The woman walked out of the house with the man who then pulled out a handgun and shot the three women, as reported by the police.

Police were dispatched to the scene following reports of multiple shootings in the 8600 block of South Wood Street.
