Visits have been restricted on some wards at the Geriatric Hospital, at Beckles Road, St. Michael, due to a COVID-19 outbreak. This restriction includes wards 8A, 9A and 10A as well as wards 6B, 7B, 8B, 9B and 10B.However, in a statement issued on Monday, the hospital’s management and staff sought to assure the public that they are committed to keeping the situation under control and have advised that an updated notice will be disseminated as to the progress of the situation and relaxation of the restriction.
