The Georgia State Board of Elections is working on a plan that would see it control elections in the state’s most populous county, according to the Associated Press. The proposal comes as part of Georgia’s new and heavily criticized election law. Republicans asked the board to appoint a performance review panel to look into Fulton County’s election process.
