House Republicans vote to remove Rep. Liz Cheney from leadership role

By: Alyssa Wilson Representative Liz Cheney has been removed from her leadership position after her criticism of former President Donald Trump. Cheney was one of the ten Republicans who voted to impeach Trump for inciting the deadly insurrection in January. She also went against false claims he and other GOP members made about the election being stolen.   The 2020 presidential election was not stolen.
