The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ondo State chapter, has tackled Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for constituting transition committees for the newly created 33 LCDAs in the state. While describing the move by the governor as an act of lawlessness, the opposition party urged the governor to stop flouting the law. An Ondo State High Court had a few weeks ago declared the creation of the LCDAs null and void. In a statement issued by its publicity secretary, Kennedy Peretei, the party disclosed that with the judgement, the appointment of the committees does not exist.
