Report focuses on policing of youth and its impacts The California Racial and Identity Profiling Advisory Board (Board) announced the release of its annual report on police stops across California. The report analyzes 4.7 million vehicle and pedestrian stops conducted in 2023 by 539 law enforcement agencies in California under the Racial and Identity Profiling Act (RIPA). Overall, the report shows disparities consistent with those observed in prior years’ data with respect to perceived race, age, and disability status.
