One man died, and his female companion sustained injuries after shooters ambushed them at Marc, Bexon, Friday night. Police have identified the deceased as Emen Emmanuel of Marc and disclosed that the female was rushed to a medical facility for treatment. The Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) learned of the incident at about 11:30 pm, responding with units from Castries and Babonneau fire stations. The emergency personnel transported the female who had sustained 'penetrating wounds' to her right arm and left thigh.
