The Seattle Medium is issuing the following endorsements for the upcoming Aug. 3 primary election. There are some contested races that were not included in our endorsement process at this time. In some cases, not all but a few, candidates who may be popular with some segments of our community have not, in the opinion of our editorial board, expressed a sincere interest to have more than a superficial relationship with our community. Therefore, we strongly encourage our readers to utilize our endorsement as a guide, but to ultimately vote for the candidate that you believe best serves the interests and values that you represent.
