Recently, the Chinese government has been connected to a ransomware attack that involved Microsoft and VPN firm PulseSecure. The U.S. and its allies in Europe and Asia have found China’s spy agency bringing in 'criminal contract hackers' to do its dirty work by hacking into cyberspaces for personal benefit. This is an ongoing effort by the Biden administration to crack down on cyberattacks that could damage American subdivisions such as food and energy production.
