Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis delivered a stern warning to rappers who boast about committing crimes in their rap songs. Willis relayed her message at a press conference on Monday, saying “get out of my county” if you plan to brag about your wrong doings. “You do not get to commit crimes in my county and then decide to brag on it, which you do that for a form of intimidation and to further the gang, and not be held responsible,” the district attorney said. “I have some legal advice: Don’t confess to crimes in rap lyrics if you do not want them used. Or at least get out of my county.” The rigid statement came as Willis announced that her office had indicted 26 alleged members of “Drug Rich Gang” on RICO charges.
