By: BNC Digital Staff Hurricane Ida has officially landed in Louisiana as it coincides with the 16-year anniversary of when Hurricane Katrina hit the state.  UPDATE: August 29 at 9:13 p.m.  The entire city of New Orleans lost power Sunday night as Hurricane Ida batters the city with strong winds and heavy rain, one of the city’s energy companies confirmed. The Category 3 storm has caused “catastrophic transmission damage,” according to Entergy Louisiana. @EntergyNOLA has confirmed that New Orleans has no power.
