Mixed-Use Project Planned for Site of Anacostia Discount Store

A nonprofit organization that caters to people struggling with addiction, mental health challenges, homelessness and incarceration has acquired the site of the Discount Place home goods store in D.C.'s Anacostia area with plans to redevelop the property as a mixed-use project.
