Another day, another instance of the “Karen” jumping out of a white woman and this time one falsely claimed that an “African-American man” threatened her life over a dog in New York’s Central Park.

On Monday, a video went viral of a woman apparently identified as Amy Cooper interacting with a Black man over the Memorial Day weekend while in New York’s Central Park.

Cooper then threatened that she would call the police and report that the Black man was threatening her life.

Looks like actress and vegan influencer Tabitha Brown snagged her own show on the Ellen Digital Network (EDN) – a digital media platform run by Ellen Digital Ventures, which is a collaboration between talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and Warner Bros’ Digital Networks.

According to Veg News, Brown’s new All Love web show is slated for release during EDN’s 2020 programming schedule and will feature the viral sensation giving advice on cooking, parenting, social media, and self-care.

Earlier this year we reported that after using her love for vegan food as a vehicle to gain fame via the exponentially popular Tik Tok video app, Brown, 41, was able to attain representation from Creative Arts Agency (CAA), joining an agency that counts Beyoncé, Will Smith, NBA star Zion Williamson and Trevor Noah among its star-studded clients.

In addition to All Love, the wife and mother will also be appearing on “Kids, Race Unity: A Nick News Special” on Nickelodeon on June 29 at 7pm ET.

Jimmy Kimmel has already apologized for wearing blackface in the past.

Over the weekend Fox News obtained audio of a podcast interview from 2013 with radio personality Adam Carolla, in which Kimmel openly admitted to imitating the rapper’s voice in Snoop’s 1996 “Christmastime in the LBC” track.

On the track Kimmel can be heard rapping, “Me and my n***er down in LBC, we’ll smoke that motherf***er Christmas tree.”

During that same interview, Kimmel impersonated Black comedian George Wallace’s voice, which Carolla called his “crazy Black voice.”

Kimmel is already facing backlash on Twitter for other racially offensive content in his skits, including wearing blackface, which he apologized for in a statement.

A woman detained by police in New Orleans was released after hundreds of protesters surrounded the officer’s car and demanded her release.

Other Twitter users said that the practice is rare, but also occurred in Ferguson, Missouri following protests after the police shooting death of Michael Brown.

The New Orleans Police Department later wrote on Twitter that they were responding to a shooting incident in Duncan Plaza where the protests were being held.

That is where officers were observed arresting the woman, and the crowd called for her release.

Protests have persisted in New Orleans, as in many other U.S. cities, following the police killing of George Floyd.

A racially-charged encounter between two teenagers and an unidentified man in Palm Beach has stunned residents this past weekend.

According to The Palm Beach Post, the altercation took place Sunday when 15-year-old Breonna Nelson-Hicks was followed to her friend’s home by an irate resident.

According to her grandfather, Tony Nelson, a 33-year Wellington resident — and a member of one of the area’s first Black families – that afternoon his granddaughter and four other teens were riding around their neighborhood in a golf cart when a stranger began following them in his Toyota sedan.

According to a police report filed that afternoon, the group was frightened and split up and opted to walk the rest of the way to one of their homes.

Palm Beach Sherriff’s Office spokeswoman Teri Barbera stated in an email that the man claimed he “almost hit the golf cart being driven by” the teenagers.
