By: Teddy Grant Black Lives Matter (BLM) has requested that the United States end its embargo on Cuba in the midst of protests in the island nation calling for the end of the 62-year authoritarian government. 'Since 1962, the United States has forced pain and suffering on the people of Cuba by cutting off food, medicine and supplies, costing the tiny island nation an estimated $130 billion,' the organization wrote on Instagram.
