Malikah Shabazz, daughter of Malcolm X, was found deceased on Monday at her home, ABC7NY reports . Police said the 56-year-old was discovered in her Midwood home in Brooklyn by her daughter. Shabazz’s daughter made the 911 call for help, and when police arrived, she was found unresponsive around 4:40 p.m, according to the New York Post. "At this point in time, working with other authorities, the medical examiner, and speaking to the family, she had been ill for a period of time, and at this point, nothing appears suspicious,” Dermot Shea, the commissioner for the New York Police Department, said, according to ABC7NY.
