These include Eckerd Community Alternative, Circuit 6, board of directors, the A Baseball Coalition group, vice-chair of the City of St. Petersburg Charter Review Commission and Chair St. Petersburg Housing Authority.
Davis currently serves as the president of Concerned Organization for Quality Education of Black Students, Inc. (COQEBS), chair of Pinellas County Unified Personnel Board, Pinellas County Human Rights Board and Chair of the Citizens Advisory Committee, South St. Petersburg Community Redevelopment Area.
Corey Givens Jr. is active in numerous community groups and organizations including the Pinellas County Job Corps Center, the Concerned Organization for the Quality Education of Black Students (COQEBS.)
In 2012, he ran unsuccessfully for Pinellas County School board and again in 2017 for the St. Petersburg City Council.
Givens is a fourth-generation St. Petersburg native and a product of Pinellas County’s public schools.
