Premier Bet relaunches Premier Lotto games – The Times Group

Premier Bet Malawi has relaunched Premier Lotto on the local market, a move expected to not only enhance the gaming experience but also support sports development across the country.

Speaking in Limbe, Blantyre, after the first draw, Premier Lotto Brand Manager Joseph Malonda said the revamped Premier Lotto was designed to give players more variety and chances to win.

“Our goal is to provide players with more options to play and win while staking as little as K100,” he said.

Malonda said the initiative fitted well into sports not only as a game of chance but as a platform that Premier Bet has historically used to sponsor and support local sports initiatives.

He said with proper regulation and responsible gaming practices, the initiative could generate funds to support youth sports, create jobs and offer new opportunities for local entrepreneurs through partnerships and agency models.

“We encourage all participants to play responsibly and treat this as [a form of] entertainment that can bring rewards when done wisely,” he said.

Malonda said the Premier Lotto game had developed from four lucky draws previously to six draws scheduled each day.

Malonda further said the initiative represented more than a chance to win money, as it brings a sense of excitement, community engagement and potential economic relief for many who may win prizes or benefit from the company’s corporate social responsibility programmes.

Chisomo Msonkho, a regular lotto player from Bangwe Township in Blantyre, expressed excitement at the relaunch.

“I am very happy that the draws are back and even more frequent now. It gives me hope that, one day, I can win big and improve my life,” he said.
