Football Legends Association (FLA) and their partners MedHealth are set to cement their relationship after agreeing to formulate a memorandum of understanding to support each other’ initiatives.
The two parties met at MedHealth in Lilongwe on Saturday, when it was agreed that FLA would supply their partners with branded jerseys.
According to the new arrangement, MedHealth is expected to procure its staff jerseys with its organisation logo from FLA.

During the meeting, FLA Board Chairperson Jim Kalua commended MedHealth for the partnership, which he said had made legends access medical help with ease.
“We, as FLA, have a means of sustaining ourselves. As such, we want to assure MedHealth of our commitment to sustain medical cover for the legends. Among other things, we sell replica jerseys and run a business centre at Chitipi,” Kalua said.
MedHealth Head of Sales and Marketing Maya Paul Kafwamba confirmed that the meeting took place.
“Yes, it is true. We are in partnership with Football Legends Association; they are our members on the scheme. We designed a scheme to suit their needs.
“The recent agreement is a collaborative marketing strategy, where we are working together to promote the two brands. As you are aware, MedHealth is a big brand; as such, to be associated with another big brand [FLA] is an honour, and we believe the partnership will achieve its intended purpose,” Kafwamba said.
